This Particular Parish

The Eastside Mission of Holy Theopany Orthodox Church is a church plant on the northeast side of Colorado Springs. The descriptions in this section on Orthodox Faith apply to typical parishes, but, as the Eastside Mission doesn't yet own a property, it currently serves all services, studies, etc. at Holy Theophany, near Filmore and I-25.

The parish is under the jurisdiction of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). Our Primate is Metropolitan Tikhon, the lead bishop in the central administration of the OCA in Syosset, NY.  Our presiding bishop is our beloved Archbishop Benjamin, the Diocesan Hierarch. His Eminence is the ruling bishop for the OCA Diocese of the West. He resides in San Francisco, CA.
